Initiatives forge educational partnerships with South Korea

In December 2017 Director of Education Dr. Jennifer Adams was invited as guest presenter at the Jeju International Symposium on Education where she delivered a presentation on the topic of “Continuous Assessment in the Learning Process: Transforming Assessment Practices in the OCDSB”

The OCDSB and OCENET have a long standing relationship with South Korea. Not only do many international students from South Korea come to Ottawa to study in OCDSB schools and many teacher come for professional development, but also there are numerous other connections which have evolved into a reciprocal and mutually beneficial educational partnership. OCENET is very appreciative of the generous support provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in hosting the International Certificate Program ICP Korea Forum at the Korea Cultural Centre.
